The Gateway Simulation is the freshman year CIBACS project. This is a team project where each group is assigned a real, local business partner and is asked to create a marketing plan to expand their company into a specific foreign country. This involves business visits and a formal presentation in front of a panel of judges.

What I learned: Owning a food business can be very difficult; all the transportations of food and additional products, finding the right employees for the job, and trying to please every customer that walks through the door.
