America’s Got Freedom
Our driving goal was to teach the class about article 4 of the US constitution through a skit to make it fun and interesting, so that the class can enjoy the lesson as they learn new information at the same time. We first made some visuals using google drawings to better show what we were teaching the class. We wrote out a script and then performed a skit for the class that basically showed and repeated article 4 so that the students can remember it relatively well. We tried to make our skit enthusiastic and informative. We could’ve been a little bit louder so that the class could have heard us better. That is what we planned to do on the next presentation. My favorite part was performing the skit. I thought it was funny and afterwards I could not stop laughing so I enjoyed that part a lot.
Challenging the Bill of Rights
The objective of this project was to research two different cases that violate and protect the 4th amendment. Our goal was to teach the class about this amendment and have them completely understand how the amendment protected someone. We created a powerpoint that described what each case was about and each person in the group either explained a case, explained what the 4th amendment was, or asked the class questions to make our presentation interactive. We could have been a little more enthusiastic with our presentation and we also should have created a skit for each case. Our next presentation we will understand the directions better and make sure we will do skits to help the class to fully understand.
